As a customer of Bucks County Farm Fresh, you will agree to the following delivery options:
We require all customers to leave a cooler outside of their home on the morning of delivery, unless they pick up their items at a pre-determined location, or are present at the time of delivery. When placing your order, we request that you specify a shady location for leaving your package. The cooler should be located there, as well. We will not leave frozen or refrigerated items if you are not home, and if a cooler is not available. If you do not own a cooler, please let us know, and we will make arrangements. In the event that you will not be able to pick up or receive a shipment, we will require that you notify us 48 hours in advance to make alternative arrangements.
Signing Up
We are a subscription local food delivery service. You will receive an email or welcome call within two business days of signing up on our mailing list. You will receive a follow up email that will include information detailing the contents of the next available packages.
Bucks County Farm Fresh will not be held responsible for miscommunications, due to our e-mails going to your spam folder. Notify us immediately if you do not receive a welcome e-mail after two business days have lapsed from the date you signed up on our mailing list.
Delivery
Packages will be delivered on Thursday afternoons. When you place your order, please indicate the most likely time someone will be home on the day of delivery. We prefer leaving the package with someone. Scheduled delivery days may be shifted on weeks with heavier customer volume, but you will receive ample notification if that is the case. If you will be out of town for any holiday, or you receive deliveries to your place of business and it’s scheduled to be closed on a holiday, it is the customer’s responsibility to advise the office in plenty of time. Otherwise, the delivery will be made, and you will be charged.
Please take note of your schedule and know when your box is to arrive. If it does not arrive as scheduled, please contact us within 48 hours.
Customization and Scheduling Requests
You must contact us by Monday at noon on the week of delivery to make changes to your box contents or to cancel a delivery. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs. However, we cannot be held responsible for changes made within 48 hours of your delivery date, and you may be charged for the delivery.
All orders are placed with our suppliers 72 hours before the day of delivery. Produce is picked and packed on the day of your delivery. Thus, all requests must be received, via e-mail or phone, by 12:00 PM, three business days prior to delivery.
All changes on your account will result in confirmation directly from our office regarding said change.
Billing
All new customers are required to sign up on our web-site. Payment is due on the day of delivery. We ask that you pay by check or cash. Payment should be left either in your cooler or handed to the delivery person. We are not currently accepting credit/debit cards. This capability will be added at a later date. Please let us know if you would prefer to use a credit card. We will expedite the use of credit cards when we get enough requests.
Account Information
Please advise us immediately of any contact information change. It is your responsibility to cancel your account or change your delivery address with us if you move. If you do not notify Bucks County Farm Fresh of your relocation, you will be held accountable for boxes delivered to your prior address. To cancel your account, you must call our office at 267-544-9266 by 10:00 AM, three business days prior to your delivery.
All of our customer information is kept strictly confidential. We do not release any information to anyone regarding our customers.
